Lalalala

As I go throughout my day I always think of tons of ideas to blog about, but when I actually come and sit in front of the computer my mind goes blank!
I wish it wasn't so stinking hot outside! I've really gotten into photography and photoshop and I want to go outside with Roman and have some mini photo shoots. But first we live in an apartment so I can't just go in the backyard because there isn't a backyard...I have to hop in the car and go somewhere. Plus I only know of one park so far here in Pensacola that we can go to that is about 15 minutes away. So it becomes a huge deal...plus it is hot...so we would only spend like 30 minutes out there because we would be miserable! I wish isn't wasn't so hot! Oh Florida...I'm actually excited about moving up north in a few years. It will be a good change!
I went through my wardrobe this week and got rid of tons of my old stuff! I got rid of things that don't fit anymore and things that aren't me. I have so many clothes that I have out of convenience and then whenever I wear them I don't feel like myself. So I got rid of those and everything that has holes or stains in them. So now I have NO winter clothes. I'm going to need to save up all my clothing money for the next few months so I can be warm this winter!
Roman stood up on his own yesterday! Totally blew my mind! He is growing up way too fast! The next thing is walking! I'm not ready for that!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh today we were watching AFV while we were eating dinner (oh yes...I get bad mother of the year! We NEVER do that but today we did...please don't judge me!) and only clip came on where a little girl had drawn all over here face and Roman started to crack up! It was the cutest thing! I love to hear him laugh.
Well...on that note...here are two pictures I edited today. I took these two in RAW format (which I will be doing from now on. My husband even bought me a bigger memory card so I don't have to worry about how many pictures I'm taking!)

Don't have any pictures :-(

I haven't been able to take any pictures for the past couple days because I wasn't able to load my pictures from the camera to the computer because they were in raw format. Malachi was able to fix it for me! He is amazing! He can fix anything for me!
My best friend Julie came and saw us today! It was so great to see her! Roman showed off for her of course. He was a little grumpy when she first got here because he didn't have a great nap, but as soon as he ate he was his happy normal self. He crawled around for her (I need to take a video for you to see!) and was pulling up on EVERYTHING. When I say everything I mean everything...the wall, the vacuum, the entertainment center, the chairs, and anything else he could get his hands on. He showed her how he can eat and eat and eat and eat and how messy he can get when he eats. He showed her that he is a professional raspberry blower. He showed her how he can swim in a pool and talk and say mama. He showed her how he can sign all done when he is done eating. He walked in his walker for her. He showed her that he is the most amazing baby in the world! I am so blessed that I get to see him and be with him every single day!

A day in the life of the Mosley's

We had a wonderful day today! I woke up to Roman wailing like everyday, but today when I went to go get them he was standing in his crib. It was so cute! He has been standing up like crazy for the past two weeks but it is still just as cute! And shocking! I remember him as my little newborn would just lay there for hours on end! And now he is crawling (yes...he has moved on from scooting everywhere to crawling everywhere!) and pulling up on everything! Bath time is interesting....he just stands up and then I sit him down, he stands up and then I sit him down and that cycle goes on the whole time! Well anyways...back to our day...after we all rolled out of bed we went to the gym. Roman went to the nursery and Malachi and I pumped some iron! After the gym we all hopped in the pool. The pool was perfect! The last few times we had been the pool was warm but today it was cool as so refreshing! Lunch was perfect today! We had leftover pork milanese so I paired the leftovers with pasta covered in a lemon thyme butter sauce. It was pure perfection! Yum! Writing about it makes me want some more!

After lunch Roman was playing around and as he was pulling up on a box...hmmm Roman...not the best idea in the world...he fell. It was so sad! The edge of the box hit him in the eye so now he has a nice little shiner!

Once Malachi went to work and Roman woke up from his afternoon nap Roman and I drove to the library to get him some books and get me some photography books.

Took this picture at a red light...I promise I'm stopped and not driving.

We didn't stay at the library for too long. Roman liked it for about five minutes and then he was so over it! He wanted to be our of his stroller and crawl around on the floor. We got him three books, one of which was Goodnight Moon. We read that before he went bed. I love reading to him...especially now that he is enjoying it as well!
So all in all, it was a wonderful day!

Yucky days

The last few days Roman and I have been stuck indoors. It has been so gloomy and rainy outside. I've had so many fun plans for us like going to the park, the library (and yes I can do that if it isn't raining but we only had one car the last few days and dear husband had it), go to the pool, and scoping out places for cool photo shoots. But alas...all our plans have been put on hold. So while Roman and I have been stuck indoors I've been taking pictures like crazy and having SO much fun editing them!

Tomorrow Roman and I are going to the library no matter what the weather is like. Roman is really enjoying books now. Yesterday he grabbed a book and came to me with it and had the biggest smile on his face while I read it to him. So cute! He is growing up wayyyy too fast! I'll try to take some pictures of Roman at the library to share with you guys tomorrow.

Cameraholic

I'm starting to really learn more about my camera and the different settings it has. The last 6 months I've just been using all the auto settings, but I really want to learn more so I can take even better pictures. The last few days I've been using Roman to practice on while he is eating since it is the only time he will be sitting still more more than a few seconds!

Vacation

So my plan was to give you guys a day by day description of our vacation...but I have given up that idea. First off...I would have to write a book...and secondly I started to write and I got to day three and I realized how boring my post was going to be. You don't want to know everything we did! So I'm just going to tell you the highlights...ahhh...that is much better. I won't have to write a novel and you won't have to read all the boring stuff! We visited three places while we were gone so I will give you the highlights from each state!

North Carolina:
-My mom, aunt, and I went to the local farmers market there and it was so magical! There was about a dozen or so local farmers set up selling their best produce and everything looked so delicious. As we were walking around in the beautiful sun, little puffs of dandelion were floating around in the air. It was at that moment I knew I wanted to move somewhere just like that.
-Roman had a fever for three days and the highest it got was 103.5
-We celebrated my father's 49th birthday
-We celebrated Father's day
-Roman overcame his fear of dogs

Tennessee:
-We got to see my Nana, who just recently had knee surgery because she developed a staph infection from the new knee she got a few months ago and was in a rehab center.
-We got to visit my Papaw's grave and say our good-byes
-We tried the most amazing chocolate milk in the world that we lived off of the rest of the trip called Homestead Creamy Milk. A-Ma-Zing!

Virginia:
- We surprised my Grandfather for his 80th birthday
- Malachi and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary. We went to The Cheesecake Factory (fried mac and cheese...need I say more?) and went to a rave. We won't even go into that one!
- Roman discovered he could run when we put him in the kiddie pool in his floaty...oh my gosh! I wish I could have gotten a video of it! It was SO cute!
- Spent a lot of time with family

We had a wonderful time but boy were we glad to get home! 2 weeks is a long time to be away from home! But it was great to see my family!

MIA

So I've been out of town the past two weeks to visit my family and all kinds of fun stuff...I will have a long colorful post for you when I have the time.
